january 24: i felt sick this morning, so i was worried that i was getting the plague like everyone on campus, but i felt better by the afternoon, so it was a false alarm. they had a cake for me at work, which was really nice, and it was red velvet which is delicious. i got home from work and had two birthday cards waiting for me. one from david and one from alicia. it made me smile a lot and pretty much made my day. went to the gym and then to small group, which was really good. i know i've mentioned it earlier, but i'm really excited about the study we're doing right now. i think it's going to challenge and grow me a lot. it's going to be tough, but good at the same time.
