january 21: friday's are always happy days at work, mainly because i know that it's the weekend. my mom sent me really pretty flowers, african violets, that came in a planter so i can keep them on my desk! after work i picked up eliza and we went downtown to pick up my birthday cake. i also bought some granola, because it is fantastic from simple kneads. well, let's face it...everything is fantastic there. then i went to little tokoyo for dinner with rachel, jessie, caitlin, eliza, and cody. the food was DELICIOUS and it was such a good time. it was a nice reminder of how lucky i am to have such wonderful friends. i think i take that for granted too often...
