january 17: mlk jr. day. hpu faculty and students had the day off, but staff didn't. however, i woke up this morning exhausted and having sinus malfunctions, so i called in sick. i ended up sleeping until 11, which was unexpected, but apparently my body needed it. took sinus medicine and did some errands, including picking up vitamins to boost my immunity during this death plague season (gummy ones of course). hung out with amy a little and went to small group. nothing too exciting, but i think that's exactly what i needed.
